Media Resources for Mental and Relational Health

For Mental Health Awareness month, we here at Austin STRONG: Relationship Building Center are sharing some of our favorite resources on mental and relational health and wellness. In our last two blog posts, we shared some book recommendations that pertain to couples' therapy or the common mental health issues that affect the greater population. Find them here (Individual Therapy) and here (Couples Therapy).

Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Grief and Loss, Relationships, Conflict, Sexuality Exploration, all of these things can be a part of the human experience and it is important to us that we normalize the conversation around these issues. We are helping to break the stigma against seeking support for these issues by shedding light on the many awesome resources that are available to anyone who would like it. In-person therapy is only one of the ways in which you can take steps to address your mental and relational wellness goals.

Here are some of our favorite media resources

On Empathy:

On Attachment Styles:

On Boundaries:

On Vulnerability:

On Blame:

On Shame and Self-Worth:

On Emotions:

On Relationships:

Of course there are many more mental health resources and guides out there, but these are a few to help get you started on your journey towards your healthiest and happiest self. If one or more of these resources resonate with you and you would like to come in to continue your self-empowerment journey in person, please reach out!

We would love to help support you towards creating your most fulfilling life and relationships. Check out our Team page and see if there is a therapist who resonates with your needs. We offer free phone consults to ensure that you are matched with the best therapist for you!
