LMFT-Associate, Supervised by Lauren Masciarelli, LMFT-Supervisor
How would you describe therapy with you?
People have always told me that I’m a good listener. I listen from a place of compassion and curiosity, as I sincerely believe that there are reasons behind our presenting emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. I am inspired and curious to find your strengths and help connect you to the inner wisdom that I believe we all have to help us through difficult situations and relationships.
Sometimes, we get stuck in patterns that might have been helpful for us at some point in our lives, but are not so helpful for us now. Our ways of being and responding to ourselves and others could be informed by past trauma, relationships, or cultural norms. These patterns and experiences sometimes keep us stuck in a place that prevent us from experiencing satisfying relationships with ourselves and with others. In my sessions, I work with you to find your strengths and tools that we can build upon, to help you get “unstuck” and obtain the love and compassion for yourself that you deserve.
My natural desire to understand the circumstances and perspectives of each individual provides me with the foundation to create a safe, non-judgmental environment for individuals and couples in the therapy room. I support clients from a collaborative, strengths-based approach and work mindfully in the present to find both the reasons behind my clients’ dissatisfactions and their strengths to overcome negative or unhelpful patterns.
